Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 kelas premium dengan code DQ6 memiliki standar 12 phase power. Berbeda dari seri P965, Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 dipersiapkan untuk procesor terbaru dari Intel Penryn. Selain dapat mengunakan procesor 45nm Penryn, Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 memiliki kestabilan kinerja pada sistem 1333Mhz native.

Perlengkapan Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6

Perlengkapan atau asesoris Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 tidak perubahan dibandingkan seri sebelumnya dari P965-DQ6 kelas high end. Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 menyediakan fitur lebih banyak untuk eSATA dan USB port.

Untuk paket Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 sengaja ditambahkan perlengkapan eSATA yang akan menjadi standar baru untuk storage external. Pemakai Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 dapat mengunakan external SATA harddisk langsung yang terhubung pada panel belakang board

 

Bagian panel belakang board

Di bagian belakang panel Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 ditempatkan seluruh koneksi perangkat utama. 4 USB port, audio jack , optic dan analog output dan firewire ditempatkan dibagian tersebut.

Bagian dalam Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6, tersisa 6 port SATA dengan 1 channel PATA. Pemakai Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 masih diijinkan mengunakan device PATA seperti harddisk tipe lama dan DVD drive. Untuk USB ditempatkan 4 port pada board sebagai tambahan port. Untuk power fan disediakan 3 tambahan jack power ditambah 1 power untuk fan procesor.

 

Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 sementara dapat mengunakan sistem Crossfire dari AMD/ATI. Pada bagian PCIe 16x terdapat 2 slot VGA.

 

Teknologi dari Realtek 889A pada sistem audio

Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6 dengan teknologi sound card dari Realtek 889A dengan teknologi HD audio serta 8-1 channel sound card atau disebut juga sebagai 7-1+2 channel high definition output . Sistem dari chip 889A nantinya dapat digunakan untuk sistem tata suara HD DVD dan Blu-ray serta sistem audio bagi Windows Vista.
